Christmas in Mexico is noisy, loud, colorful, musical, festive and fun.

I went out for dinner Christmas Eve about 6:00 as the family party across the alley from me was just starting their festivities and the music was cranked up volume large. When I returned around 10pm the party was in full swing, music still going. I woke around 3am and the party was still going strong with the music blaring, at 5am when I got up the music had stopped, but they were still visiting, talking and laughing. I have to admire their stamina. I’m sure a good time was had by all. This is so typical of a Mexican fiesta, happy it doesn’t happen every night.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. Signing off KO
I'm a traveler, not as frequently as I would like , but I plan on doing more. After working full time at Mount Rainier National Park during the summer of 22 I have decided to retire completely and forever. Prior to that I was semi retired as a Wedding Officiant I officiated at about 20 weddings a season, and with my small delivery service I handled the distribution of a local high-quality Home and Garden magazine .
Prior to my "semi retirement" I was in corrections and before that I owned and operated a bail bond agency.
I now plan to travel to new places and exciting places, getting ready to do that as a solo as the Senior is no longer with me, his choice, and I am OK with that. For hobbies I'm a reader and love my kindle. And I enjoy writing.

Thanks for the photos KO. We are Zihua old-timers, thirty plus years. It amazes me that they don’t need snow there but so it goes. We are in central Wisconsin, normally snowy but this year we have green grass and bright sun. Merry Christmas.

I really enjoy your blog. I love your photos, kept them coming. This is the second year we’ll be missing Zihua. We are long time visitors, since 1980. We’re completely vaccinated but finding the testing became too much of a headache 😊
Christmas in the Northwest with snow then the floods came. It surrounded the house but it turned out OK.
Take care of yourself. Looking forward to the next posting.
